This page explains what personal data we collect when you order a song from MelodyByYou, why we need it, who we pass it to, and how you can have it deleted.
Who handles your data
MelodyByYou, Sofia, Bulgaria. For anything relating to personal data, write to melodybyyou.team@gmail.com.
What we collect
Only what is needed to write your song and deliver it:

Who we share it with
These providers make the service work. Each receives only the minimum it needs:

Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area. We do not sell your data or pass it to anyone for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Orders and songs: kept while your gift link works, so you can download your song at any time. If you ask us to delete them, we do.
- Unfinished orders (started but never paid): deleted within 90 days.
- Accounting records for paid orders: kept as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for:
- a copy of the data we hold about you;
- correction of anything inaccurate;
- deletion of your data (see Delete my data);
- restriction of, or objection to, how we process it.
Write to melodybyyou.team@gmail.com and we reply within 30 days. If you believe we have handled your data wrongly, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
Cookies
This site uses no tracking or advertising cookies. We only use your browser's technical storage so the order form can work.
Artificial intelligence
The lyrics and music are produced with the help of AI, using the information you give us. Your story is sent to the providers listed above for the sole purpose of creating your song.
