By ordering a song from MelodyByYou you accept the terms below. They are written as plainly as we can manage — no hidden small print.

What we provide

We create an original song from the story you tell us, in the genre, mood, voice and tempo you choose. The Pro package also includes a video made around the song.

How an order works

You fill in the form and receive a short preview — you pay nothing at this stage.
You pay only if you like the preview.
Once payment is confirmed you receive the full file.

One preview per order. Producing each song costs us real money, so every order gets one preview. If something isn't right, describe what to change — the free revision included in your package is applied after payment, to the direction you already approved.

Delivery

Production takes up to 48 hours. If a technical problem prevents us from meeting that, we will email you.

Revisions

Every package includes one free revision of the lyrics. A revision means changing the song that already exists — not producing an entirely new one from scratch.

Prices and payment

Prices are set in euros and shown in the pricing section. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We never process or store card details.

If you are outside the euro area, Stripe can show and charge the amount in your own currency at checkout. The exchange rate is Stripe's and includes their conversion fee, so the figure you pay may differ slightly from the euro price on this site. You can always choose to pay in euros instead, in which case your own bank's rate and any fees apply.

Right of withdrawal

This service is digital content produced to your individual specification. Because you hear a preview before paying, by paying you ask us to begin and you acknowledge that you lose the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content once it has been delivered.

If you receive a file that is technically broken or clearly does not match your order, contact us — we will fix it or refund you.

Copyright and how you may use the song

The song is yours for personal use — to give as a gift, listen to and share with people close to you.
Commercial use (advertising, resale, monetisation on streaming platforms) requires our explicit written agreement.
We create original music inspired by the genre you choose. We do not imitate the voice of a specific artist and we do not recreate existing songs.

What we will not do

We reserve the right to refuse an order and refund you if the content would be abusive, discriminatory, threatening, infringing on someone's rights, or intended to harass a specific person.

Use of artificial intelligence

Songs are produced with AI tools, using the information you provide. We do not hide this — it is stated in our FAQ as well.
