  1. Tell us about the person

    Give their name, the occasion and your relationship. Include a specific memory, a quality you appreciate and the message you want to share. You do not need to write lyrics. Choose the song language, musical style, mood, tempo and voice.

  2. Review your order and pay

    Check the details and your email address before payment. Payment takes place on a secure Stripe page. Creation starts after payment is confirmed. No subscription is required.

  3. Listen to two complete versions

    Within 30 minutes, we email a private link. You can close the website and return through that link. Listen to both complete songs, choose your favourite and download the MP3.

  4. Use your included correction if needed

    If the first two versions are not right for you, one free correction is included. It produces two completely new versions. Be specific about the changes you want: a name, pronunciation, lyrics, voice or musical direction.

  5. For video, confirm your materials

    Choose your song and visual style, upload 2–5 photos and confirm the materials on your private page. The 48-hour video delivery period starts at that confirmation. We send a separate email when your video is ready.

How to make the song more personal

Instead of “she is wonderful”, describe what makes this person special to you. For example: “Last summer our picnic was rained off, but Maria made packing up the funniest part of the day.” Use real details and explain how to pronounce an unusual name. Leave out sensitive information that is not needed for the gift.

How we use artificial intelligence

Lyrics, music and vocals are generated with AI using your details and preferences. The two versions have different musical performances. Personalized videos are individually created and edited by our team using AI visual tools. We do not promise a recording by a particular artist or an exact copy of another song.

If you cannot find your email or gift

Check your spam and promotions folders and make sure you entered the correct email address. Do not pay again for the same order. For a delay or access problem, email hello@melodybyyou.com with your order number. The private link is for you and your recipient; avoid publishing it if you want the gift to remain private.
